I learned how appellate courts view appellate briefs and oral advocacy during my time clerking for Chief Justice Durrant at the Utah Supreme Court. I apply those lessons every day in preparing briefs and deciding how to frame issues for appeal. I bring a practical approach to solving client problems and candidly help the client determine when an appeal is the best choice. I have given presentations and authored articles in the Utah Bar Journal exhibiting my approach to appellate practice. I look forward to working with you.
