I discovered a passion for appeals while participating on the National Moot Court Team in law school and while serving as a law clerk at the Utah Court of Appeals. I appreciated the precision that appellate arguments require and enjoyed distilling complicated issues into persuasive narratives. After gaining experience as a litigator and as corporate counsel for a leading global biotech company, I transitioned back to focusing on appellate work. My diverse background gives me insight into both the legal intricacies and practical business considerations involved in complex commercial disputes. This allows me to provide strategic and effective advocacy at the appellate level.
